Small Grant Projects

The Small Grants Scheme is designed to encourage novel and experimental research into e-Social Science. Projects ranged from a pilot repository of conceptual metadata (Data Chronicles), to a look at technologies to facilitate easy access to occupational information (GEODE)to a project which aimed to facilitate the development of more in-depth linguistic analyses of multi-modal communication (Headtalk).

Twelve funded projects started work between 2005 and 2006 and their outputs are listed on these pages. More conent will be added to the pages as it is finalised.
